Social campaign for T-Mobile.
Positioning T-Mobiles G2x phone as a phone for gamers we came up with the idea of having a contest on Facebook to send two ultimate gamers to the gaming convention of their dreams, E3. This idea caught fire with the client so much so that they bought booth space on the convention floor, the first mobile communications company to ever have a booth presence at E3.
The contest was simple, upload a 15 second video telling the world why you should go, then the Facebook community votes on the videos in a hot vs. not format, and from the top ten videos, we would choose the two who will go to the event.
We then covered the two winning contestants on the floor of E3 with a video crew and sent updates to the T-Mobile's facebook page. Near the end of the three day shoot, we had one of our contestants propose to his girlfriend in front of all of E3.
